2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
2.2 Video Recordings
When you use the recording feature, we capture your video and audio through your device's camera and microphone. This recording is uploaded to Mux for encoding and storage. You control your recordings and may delete them at any time.
2.3 Session Transcripts
Your spoken words during recording sessions are transcribed and processed by our AI systems to extract video metadata such as title, goal, and target audience. Transcripts are stored in association with your session record.
2.4 Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the Service, including session duration, features used, vibe and guide selections, talking points covered, and error logs. This data helps us improve the Service.
2.5 Device and Technical Data
We automatically collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and similar technical information when you use the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process your subscription and billing
- Generate AI-extracted video metadata from your session transcript
- Improve and develop new features of the Service
- Send transactional communications such as receipts, session confirmations, and account notices
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your video content or transcripts to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your data with the following third-party processors to operate the Service:
- Tavus — AI avatar rendering and conversational video. Processes your session video stream in real time to generate the AI host experience. Privacy policy: tavus.io/privacy
- Mux — Video encoding, storage, and delivery. Stores your raw and edited video recordings. Privacy policy: mux.com/privacy
- Shotstack — Programmatic video editing and rendering. Processes your video to produce the AI-edited output. Privacy policy: shotstack.io/privacy
- Google Gemini — AI language model. Processes your session transcript to extract video metadata. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Stripe — Payment processing. Handles all subscription billing. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Supabase — Database and storage infrastructure. Stores your account data, session metadata, and video records. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
Each provider is contractually required to handle your data only as necessary to perform services for us and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account information — retained for the duration of your account and for 90 days following account closure
- Video recordings — retained on Mux for 12 months following upload, or until you delete them, whichever comes first
- Session transcripts — retained for 12 months following the session date
- Video records — retained indefinitely unless you request deletion
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by tax law
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — You may request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Portability — You may request your data in a portable format
- Objection — You may object to certain processing of your data

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. 8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
9. Children's Privacy
Gueaux Studio is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance.
