Subscription & Credit Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

This policy explains how GueauxStudio plans, credits, billing, rollovers, refunds, and cancellations work. It supplements the Terms of Service.

1. Plans

  • Starter — $19.99 / month — 4,000 credits per billing cycle
  • Creator — $49.99 / month — 11,000 credits per billing cycle
  • Pro — $99.99 / month — 23,000 credits per billing cycle
  • Enterprise / Agency — custom pricing, unlimited volume, on request

2. What a "Credit" Is

Credits are the only billing unit on GueauxStudio. Current credit costs:

  • Recording start: 700 credits
  • Successful video delivery: 300 credits (total 1,000 credits for a completed video)
  • Alternate edit from an existing recording (no new live session): 300 credits
  • Abandoned recording: the 700 start charge and any extensions purchased are forfeited

A base session (1,000 credits) includes up to 4 minutes 15 seconds of recording and a finished video up to 3 minutes long. If you want more time, you can tap the Add 1 min button during recording to purchase a bundled extension: 200 credits adds one minute to both your recording cap and your finished-video cap. Extensions are only charged when you tap; they are itemized separately in your credit ledger (e.g. "Session extension — +1 min recording, +1 min video").

Extensions have per-session ceilings. Up to 4 extensions can be purchased in a single session — that's a maximum of 8 minutes 15 seconds of recording and a finished video up to 7 minutes long. The app tells you before each tap how many extensions you have room for. Recording still stops automatically at whichever cap comes first (your current per-session maximum, or the absolute 9:59 recorder ceiling).

Credit costs for future features may differ and will be disclosed before use.

3. Platform Failure Refunds

Refunds apply automatically when we received your recording but could not deliver your finished video — every credit charged for that session (recording, delivery if it was reached, and any extensions you tapped) is returned to your balance within minutes of the failure being detected.

Abandoned sessions are not refunded. If you close the app, drop off the call, or otherwise never send us a recording, the charges for that session — including any extensions purchased — are forfeited. If a technical problem on your end interrupted your session (crash, lost connection), contact gueauxstudio@gueaux.com and we’ll make it right.

4. Rollover

Unused credits roll over to the following billing cycle, up to a maximum of 5,000 credits. Credits beyond that cap are forfeited at renewal. Rolled-over credits expire at the end of the cycle into which they carried.

5. Billing & Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file, processed by Stripe. You will be charged in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes may be added where required by law. Renewal pricing is the then-current published price for your plan.

6. Failed Payments

If a charge fails we will retry for up to 14 days. During this time, access to paid features may be restricted. If payment is not collected within 14 days the account is downgraded to the free tier and unused credits are forfeited.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel from account settings or by emailing gueauxstudio@gueaux.com at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain access and remaining credits until the period ends. Recordings and rendered videos remain available per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.

8. Refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the cycle has begun
  • Annual subscriptions are not currently offered; if annual plans are offered in the future, annual renewal and refund terms will be stated at checkout
  • Platform failure credit refunds are issued automatically — see Section 3
  • Additional refunds may be issued at our discretion for documented service failures attributable to GueauxStudio

9. Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately; the new plan is prorated against the remaining cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Credits granted at the higher tier remain usable through the end of the current cycle.

10. Price Changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal. If you do not agree to a price change you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
